Barack and Michelle Obama took it to social media to celebrate their daughter Malia‘s 23rd birthday. The former President shared a sweet throwback picture of his oldest daughter.
Barack and Michelle Obama celebrated their eldest daughter’s birthday on Sunday, prior to 4th of July party.
The couple both shared sweet throwback pictures of Malia for her 23rd birthday.
Barack Obama added a throwback picture of a small Malia and a much younger version of himself.
The former POTUS wrote: “Happy Fourth of July, and Happy Birthday, Malia! It’s been such a joy to watch you begin to make your own way in the world with poise, grace, and humor. I miss the days when you thought the fireworks were for you.”
Michelle Obama also chose a picture of a younger Malia. But a bit older than the one Barack chose. In her message, she also expressed her excitement for what the future holds for their eldest daughter.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama wrote: “Happy Fourth of July, everybody—and also, happy 23rd birthday to our dear Malia! It’s been a few years since we took this photo, but I know that she’ll always be my sweet little girl whose big hugs and big heart always lift up my day. Malia, we love you, and are so excited to see what this year will bring for you!”
Maliah also recently graduated from Harvard University.
The couple also used throwback pictures last month, to celebrate their youngest daughter, Sasha. Sasha just celebrated her 20th birthday, and both Michelle and Barack shared throwback pictures of a younger Sasha.
