The actor became famous after portraying Draco Malfoy in the beloved Harry Potter franchise, but the two aren’t alike. At all.
For years, J.K. Rowling’s said that Felton is a Gryffindor, and we’ve known it for years. For the 20th anniversary since the first Harry Potter movie came out, Tom Felton is shocked to find out the truth. Wearing a Slytherin scarf, and showing a Slytherin flag behind him, he does look the part.
“I am Draco Malfoy in a muggle disguise,” he starts the video. “But shh, don’t tell anyone that. In celebration of the 20 year anniversary of the first film coming up, I have decided to put all rumors at rest and to actually do this.”
After getting sorted, Tom Felton looks defeated as he announces that his Harry Potter house is not Slytherin. But he’s actually a Gryffindor. Given the fact that he actually auditioned for both Harry Potter and Ron Weasley’s parts before getting the Malfoy one, it kinda makes sense. The actor doesn’t have what it takes to be a Slytherin.
