Twitter Comments on Mark Ruffalo’s Apology Over Palestine Comments

Twitter doesn’t agree with Mark Ruffalo‘s apology. The Avengers actor issued a statement where he stated his apology over his support for Palestine.

The world is in a very difficult place right now. After dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, Israel and Palestine are at odds again. The two countries have suffered a lot already, and the world is more divided than ever.

Several celebrities have showed their support to Palestine, only to be called anti-Semitic. Gigi Hadid is one of those examples.

People on the street are attacking Jews like it’s 1930s. Mark Ruffalo has always been using his platform for things he believed in. A few days ago, he shared a video about the way people attack Jews nowadays.

He wrote: “Folks, this is no way to solve anything. It only leads to more extremism and makes it harder to bring forward peaceful nonviolent solutions to the problems that face us.”

But now the Marvel actor is apologizing over his comments that Israel is “committing genocide” while sharing information on social media about the recent Israel/Hamas headlines.

He wrote:

And don’t get me wrong. Mark has always been outspoken. It’s one of the reasons why people like him. But now Twitter doesn’t agree with Mark Ruffalo’s apology. And maybe “agree” is a strong word. But they don’t believe he means it.
