Millie Bobby Brown has been experiencing a lot of bullying after the premiere of the Netflix show Stranger Things‘ fourth season. And she deserves an apology.
Being a child actor in the age of technology must be brutal. People have opinions on everything, be it your acting, private life, or appearance.
Millie Bobby Brown grew up in the spotlight, but a new tweet suggests she might be due an apology in ten years for bullying. She has been on the Netflix show Stranger Things for over six years, where she plays the beloved character Eleven. But, as her character is dealing with bullying in the show’s fourth season, same thing is happening to her in real life.
A lot of people have been bullying Millie Bobby Brown for years. And a viral tweet predicts she might receive an apology in 10 years’ time.
the way twitter talks about Millie Bobby Brown is so nasty I literally just know we’re going to get public apologies 10 years from now when she’s farther removed from this situation and starts talking about how badly everyone treated her

One of the most absurd rumors that has led to widespread mockery of the actress online is the fake meme that she is homophobic. The beginning of the meme was misinterpreted. It started when the actress was asked to name a romantic couple nickname for Stranger Things characters Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard). She combined Dustin with Mike and blurted out a word which is a homophobic slur against lesbians.
There was even a hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown used, with many people sharing fake, ridiculous, and nonsensical stories that portrayed Brown as homophobic. In the past, she has denied this, and it should have stopped. Instead, it resurfaced again with a clip from this season.
Given that she’s spent her teenage years in front of the camera, she does not deserve any type of hate, especially because of fabricated, false narratives. It’s time to stop bashing successful women. Or people, in general.
Millie Bobby Brown is proof that the internet just hates famous teenage girls, grown adults talking about how Millie is too loud/annoying ok? She’s a teenager? I’m sorry she’s not making herself small or quiet enough for your liking she has done literally nothing wrong https://t.co/tMnv0ioxam
