Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were first linked after Halloween. They met on the set of Saturday Night Live, when Kim was the host. And they hit it off.
Despite the public opinion (or Kanye West‘s), the two are still going strong.
And five months later, Kim and Pete made their Instagram debut, which is a big deal for all celebs. But this might be cute if it weren’t a PR move you can see from space.
Why am I saying that?
Because, just yesterday, our beloved Kimberly received a lot of backlash for her Variety interview.
There, Kim Kardashian gave her *unbiased* opinion on how to become a baller, just like she is: “get your f**king ass up and work.” As easy as that. You can read more about it here, including Jameela Jamil‘s opinion.
An avalanche of tweets bashed the most famous Kardashian, who got her start thanks to her late dad, Robert Kardashian, and her mom’s excellent matchmaking skills.
Of course, she’s the one who worked hard to get to billionaire status. But her family’s wealth and influence didn’t hurt a bit.
Now, in an attempt to deflect everyone’s attention from her tone-deaf point of view of everyone’s lack of effort, she has now switched the story to her relationship to Davidson.
Kim posted a series of pictures, and in one of them, she and the SNL star are lying on the floor, looking at each other. And a different one is a selfie taken by Davidson himself.
The PR move seems to have worked. Because, in only three hours since she posted it (at the time of this article), Kim gathered over 2.5 million likes.
