Ed Bad Habits #1

Ed Sheeran‘s new single “Bad Habits” has just debuted at #1 in the UK. Ed shared a video where he thanked the fans, saying “I’ve been away for such a long, long time, thank you for making me feel loved.”

A lot of people were excited with Ed Sheeran’s comeback to music. The “Perfect” singer has been away for such a long time, but this isn’t unlike him.

Ed has also had a break between Multiply and Divide, and this could be because he puts so much of himself into his work. Following all his albums, he also went on massive world tours.

But now, after welcoming a daughter and dealing with the pandemic, Ed is back with new energy. And new music. Now Ed has a new song, “Bad Habits” reached #1 in the UK.

But now, after welcoming a daughter and dealing with the pandemic, Ed is back with new energy. And new music. Now Ed has a new song, “Bad Habits” reached #1 in the UK.

Ed took it to social media and thanked his fans for this achievement: “Guys, Bad Habits has debuted at #1 in the U.K. I’m absolutely over the moon, and did not expect this start at all. I’ve been away for such a long time that I know it’s gonna take a bit to get back to normal, so was expecting this tune to build as the weeks went on, but to debut so high week one is phenomenal, and something that after a decade in this industry I do not take for granted. Thank you so much for giving this era such a flying start. Loads more music on the way soon, but for now I’m gonna crack open a beer and toast to you lot. Have an amazing weekend. And footballs coming home, let’s not forget that x”

In a recent interview with Harry Potter twins James and Oliver Phelps‘ podcast Normal Not Normal, Ed also opened up about how his manager, Stuart Camp, had to talk him out of doing crazy music things.

“Musical stuff I never get talked down from. Stu, what’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve talked me down from recently?”

Stu said there were “too many” but recalled: “‘I’m gonna buy an island here’. Or ‘I’ve had enough, me and Cherry are emigrating to Ghana for three years.’ Stuff like that. You’ll get the odd thing like that and I go, ‘Yes dear.’ You sort of let the idea percolate and it’ll kill itself eventually.”

Ed continued, “I sent Stuart this uninhabited island in Ireland that you’re not even allowed to build a house on and I was like, ‘I think this is a good idea! I think I’m going to buy this and move here!’”
