UPDATE: Taylor Swift finally announced 1989 (Taylor’s Version) at the last U.S. concert of The Eras Tour.
Is Taylor Swift dropping 1989 (Taylor’s Version) first? Swifties are having so many questions after Taylor herself shared she has no idea which era we’re in.
After the release of Fearless (Taylor’s Version), everyone was sure the next one Taylor Swift will release would be 1989 (Taylor’s Version). But then she was casually cruel in revealing that the next re-recorded album is Red (Taylor’s Version), which will premiere on November 19, 2021.
But as the Swifties expected the first single from the upcoming album, Taylor, out of nowhere, dropped Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version). Then, she hopped on TikTok and said “You set a date for November, but someone mentions 1989.”
She also bluntly admitted having no idea which era we’re in, which was supposed to be Red.
Now 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is trending on Twitter, as Taylor’s website offered a signed Fearless (Taylor’s Version) CD for… guess what, $19.89.
Everyone is wondering what else Taylor’s cooking, because, if one thing’s for sure, is that Swifties have a hard time keeping up with Taylor and her brilliant mind.
There are several theories that claim that Taylor might either release 1989 first or drop both 1989 and Red albums at the same time. Given that we’re less than two months away from November 19, both options sound good.
