The Sussexes, aka Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, have been out of the spotlight for quite a while. And that is a good thing for a lot of people who can’t stand to see or read about them. Because, for the most part, the Sussexes have created quite a lot of media impact with their Netflix documentary and Prince Harry’s book.
But most recently, they have been very quiet. Of course, rumors started.
Meghan Markle & Prince Harry – Not a Royal Fairy Tale Romance
Let’s go back to the beginning for a bit here. The A-List Hype is not an outlet that would deal with simple rumors, so let’s look at the fact.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 41, is an actress, best known for the USA Network legal show, Suits. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is, well, a Prince from the British Royal Family, House of Windsor, fifth in line of succession to the throne. Shortly after her divorce from Canadian celebrity chef and restauranteur Cory Vitiello in May 2016, Meghan Markle started dating Prince Harry. The details of their encounter vary depending on the outlet, but they reportedly connected via Instagram. They were also allegedly set up by a mutual friend.
Meghan and Harry announced their engagement on November 27, 2017, and married on May 19, 2018.
They also share two children, Archie, born on May 6, 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born on June 4, 2021.
Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Separating?
This one has been a longtime rumor that has grown over the past few weeks, due to their lowkey attitude and appearances together. Royal biographer and commentator Angela Levin says Meghan Markle would be “nothing” without her husband Prince Harry amid reports the couple are on a “trial separation”.
“Without him, she’s nothing. I don’t think they will split yet, but I think she wants to prove that she’s really strong on her own,” Ms Levin told Sky News Australia. Ms Levin also claims there is “no contact” between the Sussexes. “Whatever they did, they did together, and they were so happy that way. but now there’s been no contact. There’s no touching. There’s no helping.”
However, a source close to the royal couple denies there’s any trouble in Paradise: “It’s not true. It’s literally made up,” the insider told Page Six.
So far, there has been no official confirmation on a breakup, so it looks like the Sussexes are still going strong.
