The 19-year-old Grammy Award winner for Best New Artists announced new album today called Happier Than Ever. Billie also unveiled the album artwork, in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Billie announces her new album will drop on July 30. But Billie won’t let her fans wait that long, and added that she will release a new song off the album this Thursday, April 29.
The album cover shows Billie’s new hair color, a blonde platinum. This year, Billie decided to part with her black hair and neon roots, and get a more natural-looking color. But the change took six weeks to accomplish.
Some things are worth waiting for, and that is true in both hair and music. About her upcoming album, Billie says: “this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am pt too!!”
