Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are reportedly getting close to a divorce. What seems to have caused the rift for the couple was Brady’s decision to return to the NFL.

Last year, Brady announced he was retiring, which allowed him more time to spend more time with his family, supermodel Gisele Bundchen and their children. Bündchen and Brady, 45, share daughter Vivian Lake, 9, and son Benjamin Rein, 12. But, as the new season neared, he went back on his decision. So, he returned to work.

After that, there have been rumors of an upcoming separation, with both of them lawyering up. So far, no official announcement came from either of them.

Now Bridget Moynahan, who used to date Tom Brady, posted a cryptic quote amid the marriage drama between the two.

The Sex and the City actress reposted a quote by Vienna Pharaon on Saturday, who is a marriage and family therapist, about why some relationships aren’t meant to be fixed.

Not everything is meant to be mended,” wrote Pharaon. “Not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Sometimes we have to learn to get comfortable with the gifts that are offered through ruptures and the endings instead of the stories of repair and reconciliation.”

In the caption of the post Moynahan, 51, shared, Pharaon continued. “We’re comfortable with the happily-ever-after stories because…well, Disney,” the therapist wrote. “Sometimes that’s reality. But reality also looks like relationships that’s don’t get mended. Endings that don’t have beautiful closure. Ruptures that stay ruptured.

Moynahan and Brady dated from 2004 to 2006 and share son John “Jack” Edward, 15.

Update: Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are officially divorced!
