Ed Sheeran Hints New Project With New Video With Courteney Cox

Ed Sheeran has been giving new project vibes for the last couple of weeks. The “Thinking Out Loud” singer has just released a new video where he plays the guitar while Courteney Cox plays the piano.

Ed Sheeran’s new album is long overdue. The singer has released three mathematical symbol albums so far, + (Plus), then X (Multiply), and ÷ (Divide). So fans have been figuring out that his fourth album might be – (Minus) or something similar.

But while he took last year to spend with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, and their newborn daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, he can get back to work now.

So Ed Sheeran has been hinting at a new project for some time. Two weeks ago, Ed got back on social media, sharing a picture of his back while playing the guitar. He captioned it: “Something’s cookin’.”

Then he revealed that he wanted to release the first single at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend festival. He pushed it back.

“My first single was meant to be ready for now and I was meant to be playing it at [BBC Radio] 1’s Big Weekend, so it does feel a bit weird starting with Castle on the Hill instead of the new tune,” Sheeran told the radio station.

He said the music video’s pre-production has caused the delay, but he promises it’s “really good.”

He has been sharing some pictures of him dressed like a Joker-y mix with The Weeknd for some reason.

We can believe that the following photo is from his upcoming new music video.

And, of course, his collaboration with Courteney Cox. A few days ago, Ed Sheeran released a video where he performs “The Routine” from Friends with Courteney.

Now they’re back on social media, and Ed plays the guitar while Courteney plays the piano. There are no lyrics in the video, but we should be expecting something. Ed captioned the video: “25th June”

Since June 25th it’s a Friday, we can totally assume he might be dropping his first single. I, honestly, don’t think he would release the album with no promotion. But who knows?
