Kristen Stewart is creating major Oscar buzz after the release of the first trailer of her upcoming Princess Diana movie, Spencer. The movie had just premiered its poster one day prior.
Kristen Stewart is bringing all she’s got in Spencer, a new biopic about Princess Diana’s turmoil and life in the British Royal Family.
The new biopic comes from Pablo Larraín, who also directed Jackie with Natalie Portman. Given his expertise, a lot of people are highly excited over the prospect of his new biopic.
Just one day ago, Neox premiered the poster for Spencer, and it’s dramatic and amazing.
Now we also get a first trailer, and everyone can’t stop talking about how amazing Kristen Stewart seems to be as Princess Diana. Usually awkward in the majority of her films, Kristen seems to have found the role of her life, and some might think she has real chances of an Academy Award nomination.
The movie will focus on three days in the life of Princess Diana, and her inner struggle as she spends Christmas with the royal family at Norfolk’s Sandringham estate. She is also considering the decision to end her marriage to Prince Charles, here played by Poldark star Jack Farthing.
The trailer begins with the Christmas preparations, and Kristen simply stuns as she runs, dances, isolates and fights her inner demons.
Spencer premieres at the Venice Film Festival and hits screens on November 5.
