Prince Harry and Prince William got together amid family issues to unveil the statue that honors Princess Diana. The two reunited at their childhood home, Kensington Palace, on what would’ve been Diana’s 60th birthday.
Prince Harry and Prince William might have some unresolved issues, but one thing is sure: their love for their mother. Prince William and Prince Harry have always spoken highly of their mother, and they found the best way to honor her.
On what would’ve been her 60th birthday, Prince William and Prince Harry unveiled a statue to honor Princess Diana.
In a joint statement, the Royal brothers said: “Today, on what would have been our Mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.”

The statement continued, “Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”
The brothers also expressed their appreciation for “Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive.”
The event was a pretty limited. It included only Princess Diana’s sons and her family, her brother, Charles, 9th Earl Spencer, and her sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Jane Fellowes, Baroness Fellowes.
Neither one of Prince Harry or Prince William’s wives attended the event.
