It’s a triple-Taylor: Actor Taylor Lautner‘s wife, Taylor Dome, has praised Taylor Swift following her husband’s appearance in “I Can See You” (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault) music video.
Taylor Swift broke the internet again with her new re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).. She broke the record for the most streamed album in a single day in 2023 so far, and also the most streamed country album in a single day in Spotify history, according to Spotify’s account.
The surprises wouldn’t stop there: she also had a new music video. One of the six From the Vault songs, “I Can See You” (Taylor’s Version) was Taylor’s choice, and she wrote and directed the heist-inspired clip. In the video, she metaphorically steals back the masters for Speak Now, her studio album. She also leaves all the Speak Now memorabilia behind as she looks to the future (with a hint to the 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
“I Can See You” also came with some famous names: actresses Joey King and Presley Cash, who appeared in Taylor’s “Mean” music video in 2010. You’d think the surprises stop here, but no. Because Twilight actor Taylor Lautner, Taylor’s best ex, was also part of the clip.
Triple Taylors
While filming, Taylor Lautner’s wife, Taylor Dome, was also present on set, and she couldn’t stop praising Taylor Swift.
She started the message writing, “Everything that @taylorlautner said last night on stage is so true.” Lautner, King, and Cash joined Swift on stage during the Kansas The Eras Tour stop to premiere the new music video. Following his introduction, Lautner said to Swift, ‘“I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you.”
His wife continued, “@taylorswift you are not only one of the most talented people to ever walk this earth (truly don’t think there is anything you can’t do) but you are also one of THE kindest people. You welcomed my husband and I into your camp with open arms and the warmest heart. The way you are so down to earth and authentically yourself after all these years of being in the spotlight is inspiring. Your passion for your work and genuine love for your fans is something so incredible. I am honored to call you a friend.“
She finished the message with, “2023 ➡️ 2010,” showing a picture from the present and one with her attending Taylor’s 2010 tour.
