Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have always made a “great story,” but it’s even better now that they’ve reconnected this year. Ben is acknowledging that in his latest interview.
In one of the most unexpected moves of 2021, Jennifer Lopez reconnected with Ben Affleck after splitting up from Alex Rodriguez. In what many call a PR relationship, Ben and JLo seemed just as in love as always.
And they’ve been together again since April. The two made their red carpet debut together in early September, and they’re still going strong.
Of course, any publication would be asking about their relationship, and Ben Affleck called his relationship to Jennifer a “great story” in his new cover interview for WSJ Magazine.
The 49-year-old actor shared: “I can say that it’s definitely beautiful to me. And, you know, one of the things I really value across all facets of my life now is that it was handled in a way that reflected that.’
He continued: “And it is a good story. It’s a great story. And, you know, maybe one day I’ll tell it. I’ll write it all out. [Pauses] And then I’ll light it on fire. [Laughs].”
Of course, they want to put up boundaries when it comes to privacy. “You can write conjecture about it, but one of the harder lessons that I have learned is that it’s not wise to share everything with the world. I know that I feel more comfortable having those healthy boundaries in my life around which, in a friendly and straightforward way, I tell you, I just don’t want to be talking about my personal relationship in the newspaper. I’m going to exercise a little restraint.”
